Oct. 13th is Ask an Archivist Day. I've been asked a lot of interesting questions over the years about my job responsibilities, why I became an archivist, collections, outreach, what the oldest item is in our stacks, what  collection I most enjoyed processing, how teachers can use primary sources in their lesson planning, how I decide what to retain and dispose of and why, etc. To learn more about Oct. 13th click here. https://www2.archivists.org/initiatives/askanarchivist-day  If you an archival question, please ask me.
