  Hello! I'm Brandon Horn, a senior at  Central Michigan University (CMU) studying Social Science with one more semester to go in my undergrad. During my two-month tenure over the summer, I processed CMU Athletics files, meticulously cataloging and preserving important historical documents and records. This involved examining a variety of materials, from game statistics, photographs, and event programs to media questionnaires, assisting Marian Matyn in ensuring they were accurately documented and stored from where they were previously in the Athletics Department's basement.   The Michigan Technological University Archives and Copper Country Historical Collections, a department within the J. Robert Van Pelt and John and Ruanne Opie Library, is currently seeking applicants for the Friends of the Michigan Tech Library Graduate Archives Internship for summer 2023.  Under the direct supervision of one of the archivists on staff, the intern will get hands-on experience processing small to medium size archival collections, with an opportunity to broaden their role to include other areas of archival practice, such as accessioning, appraisal, and preservation.
