The Clarke has a new summer student employment posting. We are seeking a student to work 25 hrs/wk for 12 weeks on a special project. The project revolves around researching Michigan’s contributions to American democracy for a 2026 Clarke exhibit to mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.   The Michigan Technological University Archives and Copper Country Historical Collections, a department within the J. Robert Van Pelt and John and Ruanne Opie Library, is currently seeking applicants for the Friends of the Michigan Tech Library Graduate Archives Internship for summer 2023.  Under the direct supervision of one of the archivists on staff, the intern will get hands-on experience processing small to medium size archival collections, with an opportunity to broaden their role to include other areas of archival practice, such as accessioning, appraisal, and preservation.
