FSU bulldog 1977
While watching recently processed 9&10 film Friday for descriptive purposes, we saw Ferris State University's 1977 homecoming parade and part of the game, complete with the bulldog mascot in splendid apparel. Here he is.
1979 AuSable Canoe Race Marathon
Recently, while processing and describing Channel 9 & 10 News film footage we found a segment of the 1979 AuSable Canoe Race Marathon showing some other race activities, and some of the top finishers. Here are a few images from that segment. The last two images are, I believe, Butch Stockton (brunette) and his partner Bob Welsh (blonde) heading towards the bank and being briefly interviewed about how sick Butch was all night.
