Happy Thanksgiving
Whether or how you celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you get a few days to relax and enjoy positive family time. Here are some historic Thanksgiving postcards.
1979 AuSable Canoe Race Marathon
Recently, while processing and describing Channel 9 & 10 News film footage we found a segment of the 1979 AuSable Canoe Race Marathon showing some other race activities, and some of the top finishers. Here are a few images from that segment. The last two images are, I believe, Butch Stockton (brunette) and his partner Bob Welsh (blonde) heading towards the bank and being briefly interviewed about how sick Butch was all night.
