I'm eating outside and enjoying the flowers in the garden in the nice weather, trying different vistas. The sunflowers and corn in the garden are at least 6 foot and 8 foot tall respectively. Reaching up as high as I can, I can't touch the flower part of the sunflowers. Here is some floral eye candy for your day. 




I'm not a perfume person, but the hysop smells fantastic!

  Recently, while processing and describing Channel 9 & 10 News film footage we found a segment of the 1979 AuSable Canoe Race Marathon showing some other race activities, and some of the top finishers. Here are a few images from that segment. The last two images are, I believe, Butch Stockton (brunette) and his partner Bob Welsh (blonde)  heading towards the bank and being briefly interviewed about how sick Butch was all night. They finished fourth that year according to the race statistics.
