On Tues., my awesome student Natalie and I packed the last of CMU. Athletics organizational records in the sub sub basement. The material we packed Tues. had been in locked filing cabinets. There were still two drawers jammed shut so we could not open them enough to even touch the folders. Facilities Mgt will move both filled (26 boxes) and empty archival boxes to the Clarke in the near future. I will not miss this room. It is so hot and humid in there that it's like a steam bath. Nor will I miss the three flights of stairs one way. I'm really glad we got everything we could to preserve and make available this wonderful historical record. Even with this additional material we still have most of Athletics processed and described!
